On November 4, 2010, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 25 000 000 GEL were sold at the 91-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #44.  The securities were purchased by seven commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 8.50%, the maximum interest rate was 9.95%, and the average weighted interest rate was 9.78%.
