On December  22, 2010, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 35 000 000 GEL were sold at the 91-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #51. The securities were purchased by eight (8) commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 9.10%, the maximum interest rate was 9.85%, and the average weighted interest rate was 9.69%.
