On March  16, 2011, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 35 000 000 GEL were sold at the 91-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #11. The securities were purchased by seven commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 8.88%, the maximum interest rate was 9.15%, and the average weighted interest rate was 9.08%.
