On March  23, 2011, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 35 000 000 GEL were sold at the 91-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #12. The securities were purchased by two commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 8.80%, the maximum interest rate was 8.93%, and the average weighted interest rate was 8.86%.
