On May 11, 2011, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 35 000 000 GEL were sold at the 90-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #19. The securities were purchased by eight commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 8.45%, the maximum interest rate was 8.75%, and the average weighted interest rate was 8.54%.
