On June 22, 2011, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 35 000 000 GEL were sold at the 91-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #25. The securities were purchased by three commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 8.61%, the maximum interest rate was 8.75%, and the average weighted interest rate was 8.73%.
