On July 20, 2011, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 10 000 000 GEL were sold at the 84-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #29. The securities were purchased by two commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 8.39%, the maximum interest rate was 8.58%, and the average weighted interest rate was 8.50%.
