On September 14, 2011, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 25 000 000 GEL were sold at the 84-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #37. The securities were purchased by five commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 7.60%, the maximum interest rate was 7.98%, and the average weighted interest rate was 7.79%.
