On November 9, 2011, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 15 000 000 GEL were sold at the 84-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #45. The securities were purchased by three commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was7.83%, maximum interest rate was 8.10%,and the average weighted interest rate was 7.97%.
