On November 22, 2011, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 20 000 000 GEL were sold at the 84-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #47. The securities were purchased by three commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was7.94%, maximum interest rate was 8.07%,and the average weighted interest rate was 8.05%.
