On January 18, 2012, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 40 000 000 GEL were sold at the 83-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction N3.  The securities were purchased by four commercial banks.  The minimum interest rate was 6.96%, the maximum interest rate was 7.17%, and the average weighted interest rate was 7.06%.
