On February 29, 2012, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 30 000 000 GEL were sold at the 84-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction N9.  The securities were purchased by three commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 6.16%, the maximum interest rate was 6.23%, and the average weighted interest rate was 6.20%.
