On April 25, 2012, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 30 000 000 GEL were sold at the 84-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction N17. The securities were purchased by five(5) commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 6.67%, the maximum interest rate was 6.92%, and the average weighted interest rate was 6.85%.
