On June 6, 2012, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 30 000 000 GEL were sold at the 84-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction N23.  The securities were purchased by five(5) commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 6.02%, the maximum interest rate was 6.43%, and the average weighted interest rate was 6.35%.
