On June 20, 2012, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 30 000 000 GEL were sold at the 84-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction N25. The securities were purchased by three commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 6.20%, the maximum interest rate was 6.50%, and the average weighted interest rate was 6.48%.
