On July 18, 2012, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 30 000 000 GEL were sold at the 84-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction N29. The securities were purchased by six commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 5.80%, the maximum interest rate was 6.22%, and the average weighted interest rate was 6.08%.
