The National Bank of Georgia is launching the monthly publication of statistical information on the use of open banking services. The National Bank of Georgia aims to promote transparency in the development of the open banking ecosystem, enhance public and sectoral awareness, and encourage greater participation.

The published statistics illustrate how open banking services are being used in practice by end users. Strengthening data-driven mechanisms is essential both for effective regulatory oversight and for the advancement of financial technologies.

The statistics will be updated on a monthly basis and will include data on the following key services:

• Payment initiation;
• Onboarding;
• Access to payment account information.
