
Nino Jeladze Participates in the China International Fair for Investment and Trade
At the invitation of the People's Bank of China, Nino Jeladze, Vice-Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, participated in the China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT 2026) held in Xiamen.
As part of the event organized by the Chinese central bank, a financial sector exhibition was also held, featuring China's largest banks. Notably, for the first time this year, alongside the National Bank of Georgia, ten Georgian commercial banks attended the exhibition.
According to the Vice-Governor of the NBG, participation in the exhibition and the associated meetings will facilitate the deepening of ties between the financial sectors of Georgia and China, promote the sharing of experience, and help identify prospects for future cooperation. She further noted that the event provides Georgian commercial banks with a valuable opportunity to discuss future collaborative prospects with Chinese financial institutions.
Giorgi Edilashvili, Head of the International Relations Department of the NBG, also participated in the exhibition.
This year, the China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT 2026) in Xiamen brought together representatives and high-level delegations from more than 120 countries and regions worldwide.
