NBG Vice Governor Ekaterine Mikabadze Joins High-Ranking IMF and World Bank Meeting
Ekaterine Mikabadze, Vice Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, is participating in the annual meeting of central bank governors and finance ministers from the countries included in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg constituency of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank
The high-level meeting, held in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, brings together central bank governors, finance ministers, regulators, and industry leaders from around the world, including members of the Dutch government, along with representatives from the IMF and the World Bank. Ekaterine Guntsadze, Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia, is also attending.
Participants will be discussing strategies to ensure dynamic economic growth in a globally unstable environment, the importance of mobilizing private capital for emerging markets and economies, maintaining fiscal stability, and the role of artificial intelligence in the global economy.
During her visit, Ekaterine Mikabadze will meet with the heads of central banks and finance ministers from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg constituency of the IMF and the World Bank. Additionally, she will take part in panel discussions, including the "Opportunities for Innovation and AI - driven growth" panel.
