NBG Publishes Survey of the Real Estate Development Sector
The National Bank of Georgia has developed a real estate development sector study that provides an overview of Georgia's residential real estate market and the factors affecting it.
The study provides details for the fundamental factors affecting the demand and supply of residential real estate, offering comparisons with European countries. The study goes further providing credit risk assessment, primary research of the real estate development sector and available statistical data.
The study gives detailed information on business loans in the development sector, based on NBG-consolidated data, and certain financial indicators of borrowing companies by geographic area and type, including price changes in the I-III quarters of 2022 in buildings under construction.
The National Bank of Georgia has already introduced the results of the research to the commercial banks with the involvement of the Bankers’ Association. It is now possible for the interested public to review the results through the NBG official website.
The National Bank of Georgia continues to research other sectors of the economy and will be offering similar sectoral analysis in the future.
The study is available on the website of the National Bank of Georgia.
