
“JSC Paysera Bank Georgia”: Third Stage Licensing extension
On November 17, 2022, the National Bank of Georgia issued a banking activity license to JSC Peysera Bank Georgia, taking into account “The principles of digital bank licensing”.
Pursuant to the decree of the National Bank of Georgia dated 12 January 2024, JSC Peysera Bank Georgia was granted the authority to issue loans and to provide virtual asset services on behalf of another party, in particular the right to exchange. This stage continued until 11 February 2025, during which period JSC Peysera Bank Georgia was authorized to fully engage in activities permitted for commercial banks.
By the decree of the National Bank of Georgia dated 11 February 2025, the third stage prescribed under the licensing conditions of JSC Peysera Bank Georgia was extended until 30 June 2025.
By the decree of the National Bank of Georgia dated 25 July 2025, the third stage prescribed under the licensing conditions of JSC Peysera Bank Georgia was further extended until 18 November 2025.
By the decree of the National Bank of Georgia dated 14 November, 2025, the third stage prescribed under the licensing conditions of JSC Peysera Bank Georgia was extended for an additional three-month period, pursuant to Order No. 152/04 by the President of the National Bank of Georgia dated 31 October, 2022, “On the Approval of the Rule for Licensing Commercial Banks“, Paragraph 2, Article 4.

The terms of each stage and the list of permitted activities may be changed by the decision of the National Bank of Georgia.
