NBG Governor and Finance Minister Participate in EBRD Annual Meetings

Natia Turnava, Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, and Lasha Khutsishvili, the Finance Minister, are attending the annual meetings of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).


The EBRD annual meeting serves as a prominent international forum where leaders discuss global and regional economic challenges, sustainable development, and opportunities to support the private sector.


During the event, representatives from the National Bank of Georgia and the Ministry of Finance are engaging in bilateral meetings with partner international organizations and financial institutions. These discussions aim to enhance Georgia's investment climate.


In these meetings, Natia Turnava and Lasha Khutsishvili presented Georgia's macroeconomic environment and forecasts to financial organizations.


"Amid ongoing global economic challenges, Georgia's economy remains resilient. The NBG's effective monetary policy has ensured price stability-an essential foundation for sustainable growth. Our macroeconomic fundamentals continue to attract investors, and international interest in Georgia remains high," noted Natia Turnava.
