The National Bank of Georgia participated in Earth Day celebrations by joining a large-scale greening campaign organized by the Friend of the Forest platform, initiated by the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture.

Bank employees took part in the campaign by planting coniferous trees and cleaning the area near Mtskheta, in the suburbs of Tbilisi.

Vakhtang Burkiashvili, the Executive Director of the National Bank of Georgia, highlighted the Bank's commitment to environmental protection, stating, "The National Bank of Georgia joins the activities related to Earth Day. Bank employees cleaned a specific area near the city of Mtskheta and planted coniferous trees. Within the framework of corporate social responsibility, we often carry out these activities and contribute to the protection and stewardship of the environment."

Earth Day, celebrated globally on April 22 each year, is an initiative that brings together millions of people to support environmental protection.
