The 12th regional conference on cyber security and IT innovations was held, where the National Bank of Georgia received the award for the best agency in information security management. The conference was supported by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, the Ministry of Justice of Georgia and the Digital Governance Agency.

 

The goal of the annual GITI conference, one of the most influential and large-scale events in the region, is to establish effective partnerships between public and private entities and promote competitiveness, innovation and cybersecurity.

 

"This award recognizes the quality of information security delivered by the National Bank of Georgia. We are glad that after a two-year break we had the opportunity to participate in the annual GITI conference, one of the most successful and innovative tech events in the region," said Giorgi Shermazanashvili, NBG’s Information Security Manager.

 

 

Representatives of Central and Eastern Europe, South Caucasus, Baltic States and Central Asia participated in the conference.
