The Board of the National Bank of Poland offers technical assistance to the National Bank of Georgia.   “The Board of the National Bank of Poland has recently decided to expand the scope of technical cooperation with NBG.  Within the framework of the above-mentioned cooperation NBP offers one or two months long internship scheme for the officers of the National Bank of Georgia in one of its departments.” – says Pawel Samecki, the Member of the Management Board in his letter addressed to Mr. Roman Gotsiridze, the President of the National Bank of Georgia. All the costs related to internship (hotel accommodation, meals and transportation) will be fully born by the National Bank of Poland.   In addition to the internship scheme, the National Bank of Poland is ready to organize a seminar in Tbilisi next year on the most suitable topics for the Georgian side. The seminar will be conducted by the Polish experts. One of such seminars was held on December 15, at the “Courtyard Marriott” Hotel, during which the Polish experts shared their experience in the spheres of: restructuring of regional network of the National Bank of Poland, security systems, off–site supervision of commercial banks in Poland and international relations in NBP.   The issue of rendering technical assistance and conducting seminars was solved during the meeting of Mr. Roman Gotsiridze and Mr. Lesczek Balcerowizc - the Presidents of the National Banks of two countries.
