National Bank of Georgia Presented the Issues of a Scientific-Analytical Journal “Banki” to the Rustaveli Library

National Bank of Georgia presented the authorities of the Rustaveli Municipal Library No: 7 with a complete package of the issues of a scientific-analytical journal “Banki”. “Today’s action serves the popularization of economic education. Libraries are entrusted with a special mission of facilitating the education of future generations” – declared George Kalandadze, the Head of the Public Relations Department of NBG during his meeting with the staff of the library.   The Board of Bankers of the National Bank of Georgia considers the education of public as one of its priority guidelines. For the purposes of popularization of Georgian national currency and the history of cash circulation in Georgia as well as abroad the encyclopedic edition “Money in Georgia” has already been passed to the libraries functioning in Tbilisi. Above-mentioned book will also be donated to other libraries, higher educational establishments, schools and diplomatic missions of foreign countries.   The National Bank of Georgia has arranged its first action in this regard. The President of the National Bank of Georgia Roman Gotsiridze presented Tbilisi libraries with the encyclopedic album “Money in Georgia” (two volumes).  The above-mentioned work has been prepared by the NBG support and aims at popularization of cash circulation in Georgia. This bilingual book (in Georgian and in English) will be passed to all existing libraries of the region for future.   Public Relations Department of the National Bank of Georgia has been issuing the scientific-research Journal “Banki” since September 2000. The abstract part of the journal had also been publishing in the scientific-technical database of the Academy of Sciences of Russia.
