Natia Turnava, Acting Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, met with Sheraz Gasri, Ambassador of France to Georgia.

Natia Turnava once again confirmed to the French ambassador that the National Bank of Georgia and the financial system remain committed to complying with the international sanctions. The Acting Governor of the NBG informed the Ambassador in detail about the key areas and priorities of the NBG.

The discussion at the introductory meeting included the expansion of bilateral cooperation and the support of Georgia's European perspective. Particular attention was paid to the steps related to Georgia's accession to the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), which is a crucial part of Georgia's European integration path.
