The Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, Natia Turnava, met with a delegation composed of representatives from major American and European investment companies.

The investment group included representatives from such firms as Amundi, Helikon Investments, Yiheng Capital, T. Rowe Price, LMDV Capital, Schroder Investment Management UK, Citi, and others.

Governor Turnava expressed her gratitude to the foreign investors for their strong interest in and confidence toward Georgia’s financial market.

During the meeting, participants discussed Georgia’s current macroeconomic trends and future outlook, as well as the situation in the financial sector.

As Governor Turnava noted, Georgia’s macroeconomic environment remains stable, the financial sector indicators are sound, economic growth is strong, and price stability has been maintained over the years as a result of the NBG’s monetary policy.

Representatives from various departments of the National Bank of Georgia provided the guests with detailed information on macroeconomic parameters, the banking and financial sector, and the capital market.

It is noteworthy that representatives of the American and European investment funds, focused on global investment opportunities, are already investing in Georgia and have expressed further interest in expanding their investments in the Georgian financial sector.
