Money Transfers in September
In September 2011, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 101.4 million USD (or 168.5 million GEL), which is 16.6 million USD (or 27.6 million GEL), or 19.5 percent more than the same amount for September 2010.
91.0 percent of total money transfers from abroad fall on those 10 big donor countries, from which the volume of such transfers exceeded 1 million USD in September. In September 2010 the share of these 10 countries constituted 91.0 percent of the total volume of money transfers.
