Money Transfers in Octomber
In October 2013, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 132.5 million USD (220.7 million GEL), which is 16.7 million USD (28.5 million GEL), or 14.5 percent more than the amount in October 2012.
94.3 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 13 big donor countries, with the volume of transfers from of these countries each exceeding 1 million USD in October 2013. In October 2012 the share of these 13 countries constituted 95.2 percent of the total volume of money transfers.

In October 2013, 14.9 million USD (or 24.8 million GEL) was transferred from Georgia, as compared to 11.2 million USD (or 18.6 million GEL) in October 2012.
