In November 2013, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 124.4 million USD (208.8 million GEL), which is 13.9 million USD (25.2 million GEL), or 12.6 percent, more than the amount in November 2012.



93.3 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 12 big donor countries, with the volume of transfers from of these countries each exceeding 1 million USD in November 2013. In November 2012 the share of these 12 countries constituted 94.8 percent of the total volume of money transfers.

In November 2013, 14.7 million USD (or 24.7 million GEL) was transferred from Georgia, as compared to 10.0 million USD (or 16.6 million GEL) in November 2012.
