In November 2016, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 97.8 million USD (242.1 million GEL), which is 14.8 percent (12.6 million USD) more than the amount in November 2015.



89.7 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 11 largest donor countries, with the volume of transfers from of these countries each exceeding 1 million USD in November 2016. In November 2015 the share of these 11 countries constituted 88.8 percent of the total volume of money transfers.

In November 2016, 17.1 million USD (or 42.3 million GEL) was transferred from Georgia, as compared to 14.7 million USD (or 35.4 million GEL) in November 2015.
