Money Transfers in November
In November 2010 the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 84.3 million USD, which is 11.9 million USD or 16.4 percent more than the same amount for November 2009. During this period, the volume of remittances grew from Russia (by 7.7 million), Italy (by 1.4 million), Kazakhstan (by 1.0 million), as well as for several other countries.
91.4 percent of total money transfers from abroad fall on those 10 big donor countries, from which the volume of such transfers exceeded 1 million USD in November. In November 2009 the share of these 10 countries constituted 91.0 percent of the total volume of money transfers.

In November 2010 8.5 million USD were transferred from Georgia, instead of 6.1 million USD in November 2009. In the reporting month, the structure of remittances by electronic wire systems is shown on the graph below.
