Money Transfers in May
In May 2017, the volume of money transfers from abroad
constituted 115.4 million USD (280.1 million GEL), which is 24.2 percent (22.5 million USD) more than the amount in May 2016.
92.8 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 14
largest donor countries, with the volume of transfers from of these countries
each exceeding 1 million USD in May 2017. In May 2016 the share of these 14
countries constituted 92.4 percent of the total volume of money transfers.
