In July 2017, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 120.9 million USD (290.2 million GEL), which is 20.1 percent (20.2 million USD) more than the amount in July 2016.

 

92.3 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 13 largest donor countries, with the volume of transfers from of these countries each exceeding 1 million USD in July 2017. In July 2016 the share of these 13 countries constituted 92.3 percent also of the total volume of money transfers.

In July 2017, 15.8 million USD (or 38.0 million GEL) was transferred from Georgia, as compared to 15.7 million USD (or 36.8 million GEL) in July 2016.
