In June 2018, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 135.1 million USD (332.1 million GEL), which is 14.8 percent (17.4 million USD) more than the amount in June 2017.


93.6 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 17 largest donor countries, with the volume of transfers from these countries each exceeding 1 million USD in June 2018. In June 2017 the share of these 17 countries constituted 94.2 percent of the total volume of money transfers.

In June 2018, 17.9 million USD (or 43.9 million GEL) was transferred from Georgia, as compared to 17.8 million USD (or 42.8 million GEL) in June 2017.
