Money Transfers in July
In July 2014, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 136.9 million USD (241.0 million GEL), which is 0.5 million USD (0.9 million GEL), or 0.4 percent more than the amount in July 2013.
93.2 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 12 big donor countries, with the volume of transfers from of these countries each exceeding 1.5 million USD in July 2014. In July 2013 the share of these 12 countries constituted 93.7 percent of the total volume of money transfers.
