In February 2016, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 79.9 million USD (198.3 million GEL), which is 2.6 percent (2.1 million USD) less than the amount in February 2015.



90.0 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 12 largest donor countries, with the volume of transfers from of these countries each exceeding 1 million USD in February 2016. In February 2015 the share of these 12 countries constituted 90.5 percent of the total volume of money transfers.

In February 2016, 15.7 million USD (or 39.0 million GEL) was transferred from Georgia, as compared to 14.6 million USD (or 30.5 million GEL) in February 2015.
