In February 2018, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 113.9 million USD (280.6 million GEL), which is 21.0 percent (19.8 million USD) more than the amount in February 2017.



90.5 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 12 largest donor countries, with the volume of transfers from these countries each exceeding 1 million USD in February 2018. In February 2017 the share of these 12 countries constituted 91.0 percent of the total volume of money transfers.

In February 2018, 18.0 million USD (or 44.3 million GEL) was transferred from Georgia, as compared to 14.6 million USD (or 38.5 million GEL) in February 2017.
