Money Transfers in April
In April 2017, the volume of money transfers from abroad
constituted 105.8 million USD (255.7 million GEL), which is 11.6
percent (11.0 million
USD) more than the
amount in April 2016.
92.8 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 14
largest donor countries, with the volume of transfers from of these countries
each exceeding 1 million USD in April 2017. In April 2016 the share of these 14
countries constituted 92.3 percent of the total volume of money transfers.
