Archil Mestvirishvili, Acting Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, and Vice Governor Papuna Lezhava met with the representatives of the Deutsche Wirtschaftsvereinigung (DWV).

The NBG representatives discussed the country's macroeconomic trends and global and regional economic challenges.

"These meetings are extremely important for the NBG. We discussed with the representatives of the DWV  the economic situation in the country and focused on the monetary and exchange rate policy of the NBG. We shared information to the members of the Union about the monitoring of sanctions, the stability of the banking system and the reforms implemented in this area," said Archil Mestvirishvili.
