Natia Turnava, Acting Governor of the NBG, met with commercial banks representatives of the Business Association of Georgia as part of ongoing meetings with the business sector. The discussion covered the NBG regulations on financing the development sector.

"We held a working meeting with representatives of commercial banks and Business Association to discuss the regulations on financing the development sector in Georgia. We talked about further fine-tuning of these regulations so that financing risks are properly managed. Simultaneously, it is necessary for banks to have more opportunities for providing finance to this sector, crucial for creating new jobs and maintaining high economic growth", said Natia Turnava.
