International Investment Position of Georgia
The net international investment position (IIP) of Georgia amounted to -28.3 billion USD (-76.1 billion GEL) for December 31 2022, accounting for -115.1 percent of the last 4 quarter GDP. (The same item for September 30 2022, accounted 116.2 percent) Net IIP deteriorated by 1.8 billion USD compared to the previous quarter.
International assets amounted to 14.2 billion USD (38.4 billion GEL) by December 31 2022, increased by 828.9 million USD quarterly.
Liabilities increased by 2.6 billion USD during the quarter totaling 42.5 billion USD (114.9 billion GEL).
