Koba Gvenetadze, Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, was pleased to host Maaike Van Koldam, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Georgia, at the Head Office of the National Bank of Georgia.

 

At the introductory meeting, the parties discussed the country's economic situation, underlying challenges, global risk factors and the present situation in international markets. The conversation focused on regional and geopolitical risks and possible impact on the Georgian economy.

 

Koba Gvenetadze spoke in detail about the Georgian financial sector and the emergency actions taken by the NBG that had allowed the Georgian financial system to successfully cope with the difficulties.

 

In addition, the parties discussed the ongoing partnership between the two countries and the prospects for future cooperation.
