Ekaterine Mikabadze Participates in International Statistics Symposium in Almaty

Ekaterine Mikabadze, Vice-Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, participated in the International Statistics Symposium organized by the International Monetary Fund's Caucasus, Central Asia, and Mongolia Capacity Development Center (CCAMTAC) in Almaty.


The symposium featured interactive sessions where participants shared national statistical strategies and explored challenges and opportunities related to data collection and processing in an increasingly digital landscape.


During the session titled "National Data Strategy: Building Strong Institutions and Data Sharing Networks to Harness Big Data", Mikabadze highlighted the National Bank of Georgia's ongoing efforts to enhance its data infrastructure. She emphasized the critical role of data management and security, discussing the use of cloud, on-premises, and hybrid solutions to optimize data systems. Additionally, Vice-Governor spoke about opportunities to improve real-time data processing capabilities.
