Ekaterine Galdava Participates in International Business Forum in China
Ekaterine Galdava, Vice Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, took part in the annual Sibos forum, held in Beijing, China. Organized by SWIFT, Sibos serves as a premier event for the global financial industry, bringing together leaders to discuss and cooperate on developments in payments, securities, money management, and trade.
During the forum, Galdava met with representatives of various central banks to discuss advancements in payment systems, share expertise in securities and money management, and explore areas for enhanced cooperation.
The event also featured discussions between NBG's Vice Governor and members of the financial community and business sector.
Now in its 46th year, Sibos attracts thousands of business leaders, decision-makers, and experts from the financial ecosystem. Representing Georgia, Natalia Chkoidze, Head of the NBG's Payment Systems Department, and Aleksandre Khazaradze, Head of the Financial Markets Department, joined the Georgian delegation at the event.
