Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) - National Bank of Georgia Promotes the Development of Fintech Ecosystem

The Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) has published information summarizing the progress of the financial industry. As stated in the bulletin of the Association, the National Bank of Georgia contributes to the development of the fintech ecosystem. The report highlights the regional importance of the Open Banking Technical Sandbox project and the close cooperation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in this area.

The review also mentions the positive feedback from the European Covered Bond Council (ECBC), according to which the regulatory framework for covered bonds operating in Georgia is in full compliance with EU legislation. The efforts of the National Bank of Georgia with regards to introducing covered bonds are also emphasized.
