A one-week Seminar on the Financial Reporting and Disclosure is opened at the National Bank of Georgia
On July 15, the week-long seminar on financial reporting and disclosure, arranged on the initiative of the Asian Development Bank and the National Bank of Georgia, was opened.
The meeting which is organized within the framework of ADB-financed initiative for the capacity building of financial regulators and supervisors, will be attended by the central bank representatives from the following countries: Afghanistan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Georgia; representatives of ministries of finance and securities regulatory agencies will also participate in the seminar.
The week-long seminar is being presented by the banking experts from Pakistan and Australia. The effective disclosure regimes will be discussed on the meeting. The participants will learn about the latest developments in financial reporting and disclosure, also they will discuss different issues, including financial disclosures for SMEs, corporate governance reforms in the aftermath of the global financial crisis.
At the end of the seminar the participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance from the Asian Development Bank.
