This statement of the National Bank of Georgia is a reminder to the legal and physical persons of its obligation to accept trouble free in cash payments of 10 lari denomination bi-metallic coins in accordance with the relevant fitness criteria’s established for the Lari banknotes and coins. The payments with the unit of 10 lari bimetallic coin shall take place in parallel with the same denomination Banknote.

10 lari bi-metallic coin dedicated to the 2000th Anniversary of the birth of Christ and the  3000 Anniversary of the Georgian Statehood were issued and put into circulation in the Year 2000, and have legal tender status. 

The inner ring of the bimetallic coin is –silver colored and the outer ring is gold-colored. The rim of the coin is corrugated and features English inscriptions „GEORGIA” and „TEN LARI” with two stars between them.

REVERSE: The reverse features the denomination numeral „10” with the inscription „ten” and „Lari”. The edge is circled with the marginal legend that reads „NATIONAL BANK OF GEORGIA – 2000”.

The rim of the coin is corrugated and features English inscriptions „GEORGIA” and „TEN LARI” with two stars between them.

The composition is finalized by a leaf ornament and seven stars. The coin is circled with the legend that reads „3000th Anniversary of the Georgian Statehood”.
