What does pre-order mean?

Pre-order means that a particular product is pre-ordered by the customer before it is released. The purpose of the pre-order is to increase the availability of the products offered by the National Bank for the interested parties.

What information will be available about the products at the time of pre-ordering?

At the time pre-orders are accepted, only the name of the product and the prepaid amount will be announced for the ordered product, as well as the composition and weight for coins. For the coins to be released after the Eurobasket 22 series, primary design sketches will be available as well.

What will the product look like?

For Eurobasket 22 series, the information on the product design and detailed characteristics will be available upon the official release, by statement of the National Bank of Georgia. In the future, the customers will be aware of the initial design sketch at the moment of pre-order. This may undergo minor modification and improvement during production.

How do I place a pre-order?

To place a pre-order, you register/authorize on the website of the National Bank of Georgia Money Museum online store, select the desired product, quantity and follow further steps.

When do I know the product circulation?

The circulation of the products will be announced upon the official release of the products by statement made by the National Bank of Georgia.

When will I have the products after placing the pre-order?

When placing a pre-order, only the estimated product release time will be known. The specific date will be announced to the public later, by statement of the National Bank of Georgia.

Will it be possible to purchase products without pre-ordering?

Yes, products can be purchased for those interested who will not have a pre-order placed, as more products will be manufactured than the pre-ordered quantity will be. However, if you place a pre-order, you will receive the product guaranteed.

Can I purchase more products than pre-ordered after release?

Yes, because the customers are not restricted from purchasing more than the pre-ordered product after its official release.

Can a single customer place more than one order?

Yes, they can.

What will be the full cost of the products available for sale?

The selling price of the product will be known only after official release, by statement of the National Bank of Georgia.

Why can't I pay the full cost of the product in advance?

Due to the fact that the cost of production, packaging, quality check and costs of transportation and delivery, in addition to the face value, are the key components of the selling price of a product, along with the GEL exchange rate, the selling price can be determined only after all stages of production are completed.

What part of the full cost of the product do I pay in advance? Can it be that the total cost is more than two times the prepaid amount?

The amount to be paid in advance by the customer when placing a pre-order is about 50% of the cost of the product. The selling price of the product will be determined only after the production process is completed. In addition to the face value, it will depend on the costs incurred for the production and delivery of the product.

What happens if I did place a pre-order but was unable to pay the full price after the product was released? Will I get a prepaid amount refunded?

If the customer does not attend to the ordered product at the cash center within 2 months after the release (except for the cases defined by the legislation of Georgia) and fails to pay the remaining amount, the pre-order will be canceled and the prepaid amount will not be refunded to the customer.

How, where and when will I get the products?

The products will be available after the official release, per the National Bank statement. Pre-ordered products will be issued to owners at the Cash Center of the National Bank of Georgia, after they present an identity document, and pay the remaining amount of the cost of the products. In addition, the National Bank is constantly focused on upgrading its products, and is considering the possibility of activating the delivery service in the future, within the scope of the technical capabilities of the systems used.

What happens if I do not attend to the products at the cash center during the period announced by the National Bank?

If the customer does not attend the ordered product within 2 months after the release (except for the cases defined by the legislation of Georgia), the pre-order will be canceled and the prepaid amount will not be refunded to the customer.

Can I cancel my pre-order?

Yes, but if the customer cancels the pre-order, the prepaid amount will not be refunded.

In what cases can the National Bank of Georgia cancel my pre-order?

The pre-order will be canceled and the prepaid amount will be refunded to the customer if the official release of the product does not materialize and/or the current decision of the National Bank on the production of the planned product is changed, or due to other objective circumstances. In this case, a public statement will be released and/or the client will be informed by e-mail.

Is it possible to assign an additional recipient, in case I am unable to take the products from the cash center?

Yes, as the persons entitled to pick up the product are the customer or a person pre-determined by them, whose data (name, surname, and personal ID number) is notified to the National Bank via the e-mail specified by the client when registering on the online store website.

Is it possible to receive pre-ordered products through delivery service?

At present, pre-ordered products will be available only at the cash center of the National Bank of Georgia. However, as the National Bank is constantly focused on upgrading its products, it is considering the possibility of activating the delivery service in the future, within the technical capabilities of the systems used.
